Browns Plains Kids Early Learning Centre provides children and families with a unique learning environment that enables children to access a range of different play spaces including an atelier, piazza, relaxation room and an adventure playground. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality care and education for our children through our educational programs, qualified, caring and professional educators and supportive Management team. This has been shown and proven in our recent assessment and ratings process where we were awarded an EXCEEDING result. Browns Plains Kids ELC offers children experiences with reptiles throughout the service including green tree frogs, turtles and a Bearded Dragon. We have available in both centres a fully functional water park which helps to ease the heat in the summer months. Children have access to complimentary language and art classes, as well as subsidised swimming lessons. We also offer a complimentary bus pick up and drop off service if needed.
We offer a fully funded Kindergarten program for our four year olds, led by a Bachelor qualified teacher with the support of our Educational Leader who is also Bachelor qualified and recognised Kindergarten teacher. All children have access to an interactive smart board and centre Ipads. Each room also has a laptop which is regularly used for encouraging the very important and necessary skills in Technology and ICT.
Not only do we cater for our children under 5 years, but we also run an amazing OSHC program. We provide drop offs and pick ups from our local schools, working hard to develop and maintain positive relationships with our schools to ensure smooth transitions for our Kindergarten children while ensuring we are offering similar programs to the prep rooms through this networking. We offer vacation care through the holidays which cater for all the children’s interests from science to movie days, to fun and exciting excursions at very low cost to families.
Due to the high demand for our schoolies service, our centre now has two twelve seater buses which are in use every day. Our centre is committed to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in all areas of our Service. We are developing links with Elders in our local Aboriginal community and focus on ensuring the deepest respect and acknowledgements to the traditional owners of the land on which our service stands is reflected throughout our centre.
